Reflexology entered my life by coincidence. During my pregnancy, as my stomach grew my battle with insomnia intensified. At the time I lived in London, and I was attending pre-natal yoga classes and it was my teacher who strongly recommended that I try reflexology. In the UK, reflexology is a popular treatment and culturally it is widely accepted. She insisted that it would help me to regulate my sleep patterns. And that is exactly what it did.

Chien Kang Acupuncture Centre

This centre has been open in Madrid for over 25 years and you will find its pretty clinic in the Chamberí neighbourhood. The acupuncturist in charge of the centre is Chun Xin Chen, he is excellent as is the team that works with him. Acupuncture is a therapy whereby (very delicate!) needles are inserted in specific points in the body “acupuncture points” which has a postive impact on the body’s energetic flow allowing it to return to an equilibrium. The Worlds Health Organisation has recognised that a total of 43 patologies respond well to acupuncture treatment. In addition to acupuncture, the centre also offers other therapies related to traditional Chinese medicine.
